Q: Why should I give online?
Online giving is a personal preference based on a variety of factors. Some reasons we frequently hear include:
- It's a step of faith. I decide in advance to give faithfully.  
- It helps simplify my life--no trying to remember if I've already given. 
- It allows me to give consistently, even when I'm not at church.

Q: How do I give online?
Click the "Give Online" button and follow the prompts to create an account and set up your contribution.

Q: Can I schedule recurring donations?
Yes, you can specify the frequency of your contribution: one time, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. You can schedule as many contributions as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.

Q: Is online giving secure?
MissionWay has taken steps to ensure that the giving process is secure. Your giving data is secured by "Secure Socket Layer" encryption, a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe during transactions.

Q: I clicked the "Give Online" button and nothing happened.
When you click this button, a new browser window is opened. If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window will not open. Most tools will allow you to permit pop-ups on a specific web site. In order to use the Giving area, you will need to allow pop-ups within GCCwired.com.

Q: Can I test this by giving one time?
Yes. You may test Online Giving by selecting “One Time” in the frequency drop down box of the signup process.

Q: How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?
You can see your record of online giving by viewing the Contribution History box. This will show each donation you made, when you made it, and a year-to-date total. We also send year-end statements directly to your home address.

Q: Can I use my debit card or credit card?
Yes, as long as it's MasterCard or Visa.

Q: Can I use an electronic check?
No.
