God has opened the door to many opportunities to join Him in the work He is doing around the world. Our belief at MissionWay is that it’s not a responsibility for a chosen few, but it’s the responsibility of all followers of Christ to make His name known among the nations. We hope you will prayerfully consider how God is asking you to be a part of spreading the Gospel through MissionWorks 2010. We can all can do something, whether it be praying, sending or going:
Praying – Being a prayer partner for a specific person going on one of the trips. Sending – Giving financially to support the folks going on a specific trip. Going – Joining one of these teams and going to serve!
Dubai/Oasis - supporting overseas workers through a week-long retreat; June 29-July 10 Ethiopia - continuing our partnership at The Destiny Academy and serving in Addis Ababa; July 8-18 Cape Town 2010 - volunteering now through October; praying for the event (Oct. 16-25)
Haiti - disaster relief; details TBA
Summer Missions Offering
We are collecting a special offering to help those going to serve overseas, to both Dubai and Ethiopia, this summer. We have currently collected more than $12,000 toward this effort. That is amazing! There is still time for you to give to help those participating in this trip. We are asking you to consider helping these teams to go and serve in these two places where we believe God has called MWay to work this summer. If you would like to give to help those participating in this trip, you may give online or drop your gift in the offering plate marked "Missions Offering." Prayer Needs:
For MWay to meet the challenge of raising enough funds for the Missions Offering that will enable this trip to be a little more affordable for those going.
For each member to grow closer to God and rely on Him during this time as He prepares their hearts for service this summer.
